Flower Therapy
Flower therapy can be
defined as floral homeopathy, i.e. a
curative methodology that foresees after a
medical examination with a specialist the
use of particular flower essences as Bach
Flower and Australian flower to work on
state of minds that are the reason of many
physical and psycho somatic diseases.
Flower therapy is based on the idea of
disease as soul malaise that expresses
itself through the body. Considering it is a
physical disease generated by a psychic
conflict, the curative approach is mind
oriented. Flower therapy remedies influence
both personality and negative transient
states of mind. Bach flowers are so called
because they’ve been catalogued by Dr.
Edward Bach at the beginning of XX century.
Dr. Bach identified 38 essences able to
treat therapeutically and exhaustively
emotional unbalances who were typical of his
time. There remedies are nowadays still
valid and efficacious, even if a century has
gone by and society has deeply changed also
as problems like couple relationships (
today we assist to a growing number of
separations), frantic rhythms of life, lack
of self-confidence, sense of inadequacy
experienced especially by teen-agers, the
different roles played by women tat make
them feel tired and vulnerable. Bach
flower remedies can be used also in
combination with Australian flowers, Bush
essences that collect vibrations of a great
variety of flowers of the wide and
uncontaminated Australian continent.
